1. 授業の内容(Course Description)
 This course emphasizes English communication on all levels. To help us practice our English we will do a variety of different exercises and assignments. Students will use both spoken and written English and there will be practice in both of these areas, with more emphasis on spoken. Students should come to class with the desire to speak and practice English. And students should be able to improve their English ability no matter what their skill level is. The course will focus on a variety of subjects such as travel, jobs, hobbies, school, holidays and various other conversations that will help the students in speaking with native speakers in the real world.

授業の到達目標(Course Objectives)
 The purpose of this course is to improve and practice English communication. Students will get practice in improving Speaking, Listening, Writing, Grammar, and Pronunciation. The Goal is to improve all of these areas with practice no matter what the initial English Level of the student happens to be. Participation and attendance are very important in a communication class and students should try to attend all classes.

成績評価方法(Grading Policy)
 Your grade will be based on 25% attendance, 25% participation, 25% assignments, and 25% test.
 You must get more than 60% on the assignments and the test to pass.

テキスト・参考文献(Textbooks)
 Students will be told about the text to be used for class on the first day.
5.
学生への要望・その他(Class Requirements)
 1. If you are absent for 5 or more classes, you cannot pass.
 2. You may not be admitted into the class if you are more than 15 minutes late.
 3. Any student found sleeping, using their mobile phone, chatting or being inattentive will be asked to leave the classroom.
 4. Bring your notebook and dictionary to every class
 5. All assignments must be completed by the due date. If you do not understand the instructions, please ask your professor. "I didn't understand" is not a valid excuse.
 6. Students that don't complete the assignments cannot pass.
 7. When the teacher announces the date of the test, please make a careful note of it. Students who don't take the test cannot pass.
