授業の内容（Course Description） |
|
In the second semester, the course will focus on the cultural history of the United States from World War I to the late 20th century. Based on the required texbook, the course will also examine movies, photographs, music and other forms of popular culture. The course will place special emphasis on issues of race, gender and ethnicity in the 20th century. We will do a lot of reading and listening exercises in class. Students will improve their vocabulary skills through reading and lectures.

後期の授業を通じて、様々な角度からアメリカ文化史の光と影の部分を理解し、アメリカ文化に関する基本知識をマスターすることは目標となる。同時に、異文化に対する客観的分析力を身につけてほしい。

|
提出物・小テスト・期末テストなどで総合的に評価する。
小テスト・出席（60％）期末テスト（40％）

１．分かりやすい英語のテキストを使うので、予習と復習を必ず行うこと。
２．遅刻は厳禁とする。
３．前期と後期は同じテキストを使う。必ず教科書を購入すること。
