授業の内容(Course Description) |

Practice of listening and speaking English. Lessons focus on a variety of everyday topics. Some attention is given to understanding “casual English” as it is spoken by native speakers of English. Active participation, including interaction among class participants, is required. (Two course sequence.)

To improve English listening and speaking skills. To gain confidence communicating in English.

成績評価方法(Grading Policy) |

Final grades are calculated on the basis of 50% for class participation and 50% for the final exam.

|
Class participation grades are based on attendance, active participation in class, quality of work, effort, and attitude. The final exam, given during the last class, will cover all of the class work of the semester.
