授業の内容(Course Description) |
|
This course uses audio, images, movie and television clips to create understanding, increase vocabulary, and connect ideas to personal experiences in formal and casual settings. Students use known English words and words from their native language to actively participate in class and group activities. A range of practical and American culture activities use film, music, and the internet to promote pair work, group discussion, and individual participation. This course involves active class participation.

授業の到達目標(Course Objectives) |
|
The objective of this course is to provide English speaking practice to build language-in-use according to social settings and personal identity. Students interact by listening while others speak, using different voice levels, understanding body language, gestures and eye contact. Every day and new topic vocabulary will improve conversations about personal experiences and other cultures. By the end of this course, students should be able to reflect on their own speaking ability, express emotions, and communicate with other students, teachers, and English speaking communities.
