Objectives
In order to become a member of society who has common sense, it is necessary to have knowledge and opinions about the formation of modern world.
Therefore, we will look back upon the history of the 20th century from which today's world evolved using video recordings, and will deepen our historical understanding of modern problems.
At the same time, I believe that this lecture course will be the place of training to summarize your view in a comprehensible fashion.

Outline
Following international culture 1 in which we dealt with the first half of the 20th century, this lecture deals with the second half of the 20th century.
After World War II ended in 1945, the world was divided into the liberal camp and the socialist camp, and they were violently opposed to each other. Eventually the liberal camp accomplished high economic growth came to overwhelm the socialist camp.
However, at the end of the 20th century, the depletion of oil reserves that had supported the rapid growth was predicted, and the environmental destructions brought about by the affluent society also became a big problem. Moreover, although the cold war ended, wars have not ceased in the world. Because of these reasons, it is indispensable to know the circumstances in the late 20th century for preparing the future in which much more difficulties are expected.
International culture 2 consists of lectures on the history of the world in the second half of the 20th century, showing a pictorial record of every time period and supplementing the backgrounds by the description of oral.
