Objectives
The aims of the course are to understand fundamental properties and roles of microorganisms in nature.

Outline
The lectures explain the roles of microorganisms in nature, which are different from those of plants and animals, and furthermore describe the specific cellular structure and function, as well as their interaction with plants, animals and insects.
