授業の内容（Course Description） |
|
In the course, students will focus on improving and developing the ability to communicate in English. In each class, students will learn how to express themselves in English and speak English as much as possible. The course will also include aspects of culture, including popular culture, and how to talk about things that are of interest to each student. This is primarily a conversational course, but it will include aspects of grammar to aid and influence students’ ability to communicate as well as touching on how different English-speaking nations vary in vocabulary and expressions.

At the end of the course students will be able to speak about a variety of topics and have the confidence to express themselves in English. This of course will help the student socially, academically and professionally.

Attendance 20% Participation & Assignments 40% Tests 40%
Participation:
1) speaking English not Japanese
2) completing the class work to a good standard
3) not using a phone in class
4) being an active and communicative student with your partner, group and teacher

|
Students are required to participate in class, practice with their partner and group, use the guidance of the teacher to produce both scripted and original English conversation. Also, students are required to speak only English in class, complete all assignments and homework, to take all the tests, and to attend all classes.
