Course Description |

This course aims to analyze Japanese transport industries based on the perspective of economics. Transport industries are generally regulated by authorities due to the distinctive characteristic of the industries such as natural monopoly and public goods.
In this course, I discuss both outlines of transport industries and deregulation of the industries in recent years. If students have a stock of the knowledge about economics, it is easy to understand the lecture of this course. However, even if you do not have the knowledge of economics, you can take this course.
