1. Course Description
This course introduces game theoretic approach to analyze decision making in interdependent environments with more than one economic agent. Students will learn a framework in which each agent develops her own strategy with her conjecture about the opponents’ strategies. Although it is much more complex and sophisticated than the market theory, the solution concept Nash equilibrium assist in fully understanding it. Next, it provides applications of the noncooperative game theory to real world examples such as economic and political issues.
