Course Description |

We focus on the concept of ‘All Living Things’ (生きとし生けるもの) which was used in Japanese literature as the Collection of Ancient and Modern Japanese Poetry(『古今和歌集』) more than one thousand ago and analyze philosophically the form of thought about time and space in Japanese people. Then we realize the uniquness and features of the living time and space in the life and history of Japanese people.
