Course Description |
|
This programme is designed as an introduction to the history of poetry in English (Britain, America, Ireland and so forth) and its related art forms such as plays and musicals. The course consists of lectures with visual aids and practical excercises, through which students are hoped to deepen their understanding of English literature and culture. Grades will be based on regular attendance, participation and the completion of assignments. Those students who have missed one-third of all classes without due justification will receive a grade penalty.
