Course Description |

The course introduces students to the study of Japanese examination and society from comparative perspective. The focus is placed on education and examination. You will learn how to compare Japanese society with foreign (e.g. French) one. The lecture refers to Pierre Bourdieu's works on education, culture and stratification.
