Course Description |

This class is designed as a second-year pre-seminar class which aims to improve students English skills and to gradually develop their abilities in critical thinking. This class will focus on well acclaimed and easy to understand American movies of the 20th and 21st centuries. This class will also examine how these films reflect and represent American society. Short Quizzes will be given on important and useful expressions in each movie. One group presentation is required in each sememster based on the movies watched in class and outside materials.
