Course Description |

This course actually aims to focus on the global warming. First, you will learn about its causes, miserable future damages, and the key role of the Kyoto Protocol to prevent climate change. You will also study about recent development of domestic emissions trading and carbon offsetting scheme in Japan. In autumn, you will extend deep insights of the possibilities of various environmental businesses such as biomass energy, wind power, solar power, geothermal, fuel cells, smart-grid, zero-emission housing, recycling, etc.
