1. Course Description
In recent years there has been a noticeable move from lecture-based activities towards more student-centred activities. Case studies are an increasingly popular form of teaching and have an important role in developing skills and knowledge in students.
Students are assigned to groups of 5-6 and investigate a number of components focus on Hakone; Industry, the history, natural environments,etc. Based on findings, the students performs work to make the teaching materials. 
It begins with an introductory lecture where students are briefed on the topic and the case study objectives are set. The structure of the case study work is also explained to the students in terms of how the practical and group sessions operate.

Information gathering and analysis.
Time management.
Presentation skills.
