Course Description |

The aim of this course is to make a few steps towards wholistic understanding of ourselves. The concept of the sustainable Earth will be reviewed from the standpoint of life and earth. The course will cover following topics. The birth of the first human (about 6 to 7 million years ago), the initiation of agriculture, the process of deforestration and current environmental issues includding global warming. Students are asked to make their own view for the sustainable world for the next generation and all organisms.
