Course Description |

Main subjects of sociology of education are related to following research questions. What kind of role does education take in society? What kind of social mechanism occures through the social roles?
First, as a representative phenomenon of the social mechanism which school education takes, this lecture treat it about "transition from education to working".
Second, we investigate how the consumption cultures to be taking place outside a school influence the schools and students.
