1. Course Description
This course focuses on the treatment on juveniles with problems. Historical backgrounds of the modern correction systems and the legal and psychological viewpoints for rehabilitation will be introduced. Students are expected to learn how important the efforts to empower the youth are and that the punishment is not the only measure to keep them away from recidivism. Students would also enhance their knowledge on risk assessment tools and global standards of children’s rights.
