Course Description |

This course provides an understanding of basic statistical concepts and enables students to utilize basic methods and skills to interpret and present quantitative data. Students are introduced to the basic concepts involved in collecting, representing and describing quantitative data, and are given an introduction to inferential approaches to statistical analysis with practice problems. In the spring semester, the course will provide students with key concepts involved in arrangements of quantitative data, characteristic values of sample distribution, basic concepts of probability distribution and estimation theories on the mean of normal population.
