Objectives |

In this course the aim is to think about how you live your life as human being.
My lectures are mainly on the topic of bioethics, that is problems concerning death and birth or reproduction in the medical setting.

Outline |
|
What is philosophy? What are ethics? Those questions are the starting point. Philosophers in the past expounded epistemology and ontology, and ethics. We learned the philosophers' thoughts from the begining.
In the 1st semester, I will lecture mostly on problems related to death. Themes are " brain death", organ transplant, euthanasia, death with dignity, views of life and death and ceremonies related to death.
