Objectives
The first objective of this course to master the basic techniques of skating (plain skating) and ice hockey, then finally to find enjoyment in playing mini games. As skating is an activity performed under the cold environment, students learn how to prevent injury, to prepare proper wear (cap, gloves etc.) and to use proper manners on the skating rink.
2.
Outline
The first basic technique is to master standing and walking on ice, and the next is sliding, turning and stopping. In the next stage, the basic technique to be mastered is passing, dribbling and shooting of ice hockey. In the final stage, students will be able to enjoy a mini league match of 6 vs 6. Students will be evaluated on the level of their basic skills of slalom, turning by the both feet, crossing, dribbling, shooting and stopping in a special course on the ice rink. This lesson is held as an intensive course in an indoor skating rink off the university campus.
