Objectives
Lectures will be given on basic level environmental economics. There are two objectives of this course. The first objective is to understand the present conditions of environmental problems. The second is to apply principles of economics in order to understand properties of environmental problems.

Outline
At first, present conditions of environmental problems will be introduced. The topics which will be introduced are problems about wastes and global warming. Discussions about sustainable growth will be also lectured on. After that, the reason why principles of economics needto be understood in order to understand environmental problems will be lectured on. Those who register for this course are expected to understand that externality is a key element. Following that, effects of various methods for solving environmental problems will be discussed.
