Objectives |

The aim of this course is to acquire various numerical simulations skills and data handling skills with C and C++.

Outline |
|
Numerical calculation plays an important role in understanding actual physical phenomena and handling vast amounts experimental data. This course deals with more complex physical phenomena, data handling and the latest calculation methods etc.

Requirements (Assignments) |
|
Compared to the master course lecture “Computing and Visualization Methods for Science and Engineering”, the contents are more professional. So the students must have knowledge of basic programming and numerical simulation. In every lecture, the next lecture’s contents will be shown. Students are requied to consider the contents for the next lecture in advance.

This lecture deals with the latest simulation methods and data handling methods used in actual research. And students learn practical calculations by programming with these latest methods.
