Objectives |

The purpose of this course is for students to learn mathematical knowledge and skills required to become a junior high school mathematics teacher. They will acquire knowledge and learn methods by developing teaching materials and conducting practical trial lessons.

Outline |
|
It is necessary for students to study both this course and "Method of Mathematic Education 3".
In this course, students will learn the framework of junior high school mathematics using "the Educational Guidelines for junior high school mathematics" (edited by Ministry of Education). Students will plan a demonstration lesson and teach it. That is, they will analyze a learning task, make a lesson plan, conduct the lesson, evaluate it and improve it. Through those activities, students learn communication skills in the classroom and methods of developing teaching materials with using learned technologies as needed.
