A communicative approach to using English. The course will be speaking based with grammar taught as a functional tool to facilitate oral communication. Also, through this class, you can interact with a native speaker and learn about different cultures and customs.

To improve speaking and listening skills by practicing English with classmates and your teacher. To use grammar effectively when speaking English. To increase vocabulary of both formal and informal English using teacher prepared material and the book.

The student must actively participate in the class by attending the lecture, practicing with partners, using the guidelines given by the instructor, speaking only English in class, taking all tests and completing all assignments given by the instructor.
Students can receive extra credit for keeping an English diary and/or vocabulary notebook
