Web Syllabus(講義概要)

The goal of English for Communication II is to prepare students for making presentations in their academic, professional, civic and cultural life in English as a communication tool. It is intended for students who register the teaching license course.

In addition to focusing on the structure and delivery of oral presentations, we will highlight certain aspects of public speaking, including pronunciation, volume, intonation and gestures, to help your presentation skills.

予習および復習は必須です。その日におこなう授業内容の予習、前の週におこなった授業の復習を必ずおこなって授業に出席ください。

■予習
　プレゼンテーションをおこなう本授業においては、以下の二点を必ず実践してください。詳細については授業内で指示します。
１）テキスト付属のDVDの視聴。
２）プレゼンテーション原稿の準備。

■復習
　当然のことですが、プレゼンテーションでは伝える内容を理解しておくことが重要です。その手段として単熟語力は必須ですので、授業で学習した語句を中心にできるかぎり暗記するように心がけて下さい。例えば以下のような方法を実践してください。
１）授業で学習した単語熟語をリストアップする。
２）リスト化した単語熟語を覚えるようにする。

グループワークおよび個人発表(約50％）および期末試験（約50%)によって判断します。

2) 辞書等：必ず授業に持参すること。電子辞書でも紙の辞書でも構いません。詳細については初回授業時に指示します。

＊プレゼンテーション能力を向上させる演習授業ですので、毎回の出席を重視します。
