Objectives |

In these days, aeroplanes have applied several types of gas-turbine engines to their propulsion system such as the Turbojet engine, Turbofan engine, Turbo-prop engine, Turbo-shaft engine etc.. In this course, students will master general knowledge about aero-turbo engines and learn to understand the characteristics and roles of each.

The configuration, function and performance of the aero-turbo engine will be studied based on the basic knowledge of thermodynamics and/or fluid-dynamics.
