Objectives
A project is "a series of works done in a limited period in order to achieve a specific purpose being different from the usual businesses". In order to achieve the aim of a project, it is necessary to manage time, resources, quality, etc. with sufficient balance. Project management makes full use of a series of techniques, a process, and a system, in order to plan, perform and control a project effectively. The aim of this course is to acquire the fundamental knowledge and techniques of project management. A participant will practice the exercise managing the project for the freshman of the university as a project manager in the "project exercise" course.

Outline
The flow of a project is divided into five stages, and further divided into 10 steps. Participants learn the meaning, the work to be done, and the achievement for each step. In the second half of the semester, participants will play a role as a project manager of the team together with the freshman in university who are studying the "project exercise". A project manager is urged to manage his/her project using the tool used in the real project management.
