Objectives |
|
The purpose of this course is to learn development techniques for modernistic and advanced information systems based on Web technology. Especially, we learn the knowledge and methods for efficient development of high quality systems, through system development that is structured by Java, JSP/Servlet and database systems. As a method of efficient development, a software framework is introduced in this development.

Java Platform Enterprise Edition (Java EE) is a specification for enterprise systems in Java. The specifications for Java Servlet and Java Server Pages (JSP) are defined for web based systems in Java EE. Servlet and JSP are important technologies for recent web based systems, and also many large scale web based systems are developed using these technologies. In this course, we learn the basis of system development methods using Servlet, JSP, and related software framework. Moreover, we learn practical techniques through the system development practice by PBL (Project Based Learning).
