Objectives |
|
There are two basic types of social activities: A: the provision of products or services, B: the consumption of the products or the services. If the two are in proper balance, people are satisfied, safety increases, business does well, and society will progress positively. If there is mismatch between A and B, people are unsatisfied, safety decreases, business dose worse, and society will be be in a negative state. The "Key" of the matching of A and B is the attention to the "Human Factor". The aim of this course is that the students in the science course will be able to (1) understand and evaluate the "Human Facter", which is the base of the social activities, from various points of view, and will be able to (2) cope with it independently and enforce your social additional value.

Outline |

The academic field of "Human Factor" has two kinds of meaning. In "Narrow" mean it deals with mainly the human engineering and safety. In "Broad" meaning, it deals with wider social activities. This course deals with the domains of Broad sense of the Human Factor. Specifically, we shall deal with five areas: (1) human-error and safety, (2) R & D for products and services, (3) activation of an organization, (4) marketing and satisfaction by consumers, (5) social responsibility of companies and organizations. From the view-point of the "Human Factor", we will analyze, study, and understand the actual examples, and will try to find appropriate measures.
