1. Course Description
This course, in spring semester, aims to develop logical thinking by studying and discussing current issues.

Approaches taken in the course include: taking up one national or international topic at a time; analyzing it from various angles (what happens, why it happens, what is the point of the matter, etc.); forming and expressing opinions on the issue; reading and transcribing related editorials; writing short essays on the issue.

Emphasis is also on improving writing and communication skills.
