1. Course Description
Whether and when will China surpass the U.S. and become the largest economy? This is one of the most talked-about, controversial topics of the day.

Autumn course discusses and analyzes various challenges that China have yet to overcome before getting no.1 status. Those include: shifting from export-led to consumption-led growth; further privatization of state-owned enterprises; technological innovation and changeover in industrial structure; reducing the wealth gap.

Focus in autumn is on the present and the future of China's economy.
