Course Description |

For a long time, international tourism has been regarded as invisible trade. However, international tourism means international trade by tourist. The purpose of this course is to analyze international tourism applying the economic theory of international trade. In order to achieve that purpose, we will explain in detail the following. That is, the concepts of absolute advantage and comparative advantage, terms of trade, and inter-industry trade and intra-industry trade in tourism services, and finally we will explain the theory of strategic trade policy in tourism.
