Course Description |

This course will provide an overview of the contents of Japanese Language classes at the elementary school level. Special emphasis will be placed on the systematic relationship between the topics introduced in lower, middle, and upper grades as established by MEXT’s Course of Study for Elementary Education. Students will also explore how the Course of Study seeks to advance elementary students’ communication abilities by incorporating discussion and linguistic knowledge, particularly in speaking and writing.
