Course Description |

This class treats with the Greek classics, Plato's Protagoras and Apologia, Sophocles' Oedipus and Antigone. It requires the students to carefully read these texts and understand them in their historical background. Through the reading and discussion, the students are expected to consider the fundamental problems of the human being, for example, why do we live, what is our well-being, whether can we change the fate etc.
