Course Description |

Utilizing the knowledge acquired in Seminar in Psychology A, you will learn the effects of chemicals you are quite familiar with, i.e. odorants, which produce olfaction (which belongs to "chemcial senses"). Olfaction not only plays a key role in our survival but also is commonly used to change your mood or "attraction" to others (e.g. via the use of perfume). Odorants are also used in aromatherapy and as disinfectants, and can also be poisonous. You will learn in this seminar psychopharmacologic as well as toxic effects of odorants.
