Course Description |

"Change Japan and the World by Social Busness."
This course will help students create "social business." Students prepare and learn how to write project proposal, to raise fund, to establish new business, and to manage the enterprise for solving social problems the current society faces in the world.
The organizations and enterprises outside both of the governemnt and the private for-profit business sector are increasing their significance to tackle various social problems and concerns of the society.There are serious weaknesses such as raising fund, sustainability of the activity, and securing human resources relating with NGOs, NPOs, and social entrepreneurs. Students study many cases in Japan and the world, such as Grameen Bank, its related businesses in order to acquire skills concerning how to create a new business, how to write an appealing business proposal, how to raise enough funds, and how to manage the social business. Solidarity economy and social business are two key words of this course.
