Course Description |

Following the first semester, the aim of this course is to help students acquire a holistic understanding of Latin American society and culture.
This course focus on various films about Latin America dealing with various "conflicts" such as lawsuit battle between a huge American oil company and an Amazonian ethnic groups in Ecuador, Cuban Missile Crisis under the Cold War, "Water War" in Bolivia and so on in order to deepen your understanding how Latin American society and culture have been described by "Hollywood" or by themselves.
