Course Description |
|
The contents of the course will be decided through talks with the attendants. We will read some basic references and newspaper columns to broaden and deepen the knowledge of economy and economics and to learn what is happening in today's world. The modern and contemporary society and capitalism in UK and Europe will be compared with that of Japan through historical point of view. Some books such as Hirofumi Uzawa,"Can Economics Make People Happy?" as well as newspaper columns will be used.
