Course Description |

The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the fundamental knowledge of Japanese Economics.
The goals of this course are to
・be able to understand and explain the characteristics, the history, and the key challenges of Japanese Economics,
・be able to understand and explain major methods and theories of Japanese Economics,
・be able to evaluate major studies on Japanese Economics in terms of its methods, results, and implications.
Your final grade will be calculated according to the following criteria: Term-end examination (80%), In-class contribution (20%).
This course will be taught in Japanese.
