1. Course Description
The course argues the central issues of the management system. It also takes up several case studies of big businesses and top management in the world, and intends to provide a general framework for the contemporary business activities. The course covers a wide range of topics compiled so as to give a general knowledge and insight in this field to students. In the fall semester it consists mainly of corporate governance and management, the formation of zaibatsu and corporate complexes, Japanese-style management, the Toyota Production (Just-in-Time) System, and so on.
