Practical Study of Precision Machining |
ISOGAI, Takeshi |
|
【Mechanical and Precision System・1st semester】
17-1-0198-2327 |
1. |
Outline |
|
Guidance is given in the first class of the course. Note for safety is given then. Practice 1 Measurement Practice 2 Turning Practice 3 Milling Practice 4 Milling by Numerical Control Practice 5 Electro Discharge Machining Practice 6 Heat Treatment of Steel Practice 7 Advanced processing by a machining centre and CAD/CAM
|
2. |
Objectives |
|
To measure various lengths. Students will learn to understand the concept of measurement precision. Using the lathe, which is for metal processing, they will understand the turning processing. Using the milling machine, which is also for metal processing, they will understand milling as well. Using the NC milling machine, they will also understand processing by the NC program. Metal processing is carried out by means of electrical discharge machining. The student will learn to understand electrical discharge machining. And they will understand the fact that the material strength can be improved through the real experience of heat treatment of the steel.
