Outline |

Students will mainly improve five skills: speaking, reading, pronunciation, grammar, and writing in this course. Each unit consists of six parts. Firstly, they will understand the theme and goals of the unit. Secondly, they will understand the dialogue, practice reading it aloud, and try performing it in pairs. Thirdly, they will read and understand the passage related to the dialogue and answer comprehension questions. Fourthly, they will practice the pronunciation tip. Fifthly, they will answer grammatical questions. Sixthly, they will understand the writing tips. In the eighth class, students will watch a film or drama conducted in English with subtitles and write comments on it. In the eleventh class, students will be explained how to write compositions on their experiences or opinions. Each member will be called on more than once per class, so students are expected to be prepared for every class and answer with confidence.
