Web Syllabus(講義概要)

　本プレセミナーでは、カナダ語学留学を直前に控え、授業内で留学の準備を行うとともに、カナダの社会・文化についての理解も深めていきます。具体的には、英文書類に目を通し各自で手続きを行ってもらいます。また、カナダの事象を調べ、相互に発表することでカナダの社会・文化についての理解を深めていきます。
　In this class, students will prepare for studying abroad in Canada and deepen the understanding about Canadian social and cultural aspects. In detail, students will prepare for their applications and other documents on their own. In addition, students will study about Canada and make a presentation in order to deepen respective understanding.

　主体的に留学準備に携わり、かつカナダの社会・文化について調べ理解を深めるとともに、英語で自らの考えを発信することができる。
　The aim of this course is to enable you to:
　　(1) prepare for studying abroad in Canada;
　　(2) explore social and cultural aspects of Canada, deepen understanding, and inform others.

　積極的な授業参加（30％）、プレゼンテーション（30％）、レポート（40％）で総合的に評価する。
　Your final grade will be based on the following:
　　30%　Attendance, Participation and Preparedness
　　30%　Presentation
　　40%　Report

　References are provided in the class accordingly.

　自らカナダの事象について調べること。
　You are expected to study about Canada.

　主体的に授業に臨み、積極的に発言することを期待します。授業への欠席や遅刻には注意してください。授業計画は予定であり、変更の可能性があります。
　Students are expected to take a responsible role and actively participate in the class. Avoid absenteeism and lateness. Lesson plans may be changed.
