１． 授業の概要（ねらい）

　A two course sequence designed for English Teaching. Lessons include activities to encourage students to improve and actively practice listening and speaking in class. Activities involve students working in pairs, groups, and making presentations. Significant class participation is required.

　この科目は、教職の英語科の課程のために設計された連続科目「英語コミュニケーションI」 と「英語コミュニケーションII」のうちの「I」です。授業ではリスニングとスピーキングの 上達を目指して、積極的に活動することが求められます。活動は受講者によるペア・ワー ク、グループ・ワーク、プレゼンテーションを含みます。授業への積極的な参加が重要で す。

授業の到達目標

　There are 5 objectives to English Communication: (1) Listening to World Englishes 世界の様々な英語を聞くことができる。(2) Pronunciation and writing of English 英語を発音すること・書くことができる
　(3) Speaking Global English グローバル英語を話すことができる。(4) ExpandVocabulary) 英語の語彙を広げる。
　(5) Understanding Grammar英文法を理解している。

成績評価の方法および基準

　Tests and Assignments=50%, Participation=50% 試験と宿題50％、授業への参加度50％。
