The course is designed to provide Insurance Operations in the following points mainly.
1 To provide overview of insurance operations, including functional view of insurance
2 To examine characteristics of insurance marketing, distribution and channels
3 To provide overview of important role that the underwriting function plays in operations
4 To provide overview of important role that the claim function plays in operations
5 To describe principal functions of reinsurance, various types of reinsurance, alternative

The goals of this course are to enable you to understand and apply basic concepts of Insurance Operations by knowing marketing,distribution,underwriting,claim,reinsurance and so on.

教科書・参考書 |
|
The lectures are composed by using Power Point Slides which are made based on CPCU 520 Course Guide[Insurance Operations] and Materials of each lesson are distributed in the class.
In addition,[OVERVIEW OF THE NON-LIFE INSURANCE BUSINESS IN JAPAN 2014] is used as reading materials.

Students are recommended to review every lecture in handout.
Before every lessons, Students are provided to get a previous lesson review test.
