授業の概要（ねらい） |

This course will be an introductory class to Development Economics and Asian economy. We will consider the basic issues that the developing countries are now facing, such as poverty, education, health and environmental problems. We will also read important studies on this field such as works by Amartya Sen. We will decide the details of the course after the first meeting. This course will be held in English.
