YOSHITANI, Naoharu
  Elective  2 credits
【Aerospace Engineering・1st semester】
18-1-0278-2016

1.
Outline
All the lectures are given in the classroom with exercises of practical problems. Important contents learned in this course are:
1. Review of electric circuits: DC circuits, AC circuits
2. Principles of PN junctions, diodes and transistors
3. Electronic circuits 1: amplifying circuits, power circuits, oscillator circuits
4. Electronic circuits 2: modulating and demodulating circuits for AM and FM
5. Principles of DC and AC motors
6. Electric and electronic devices used in aircraft
7. Flight control systems of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
2.
Objectives
The main objective is for students to learn and understand the basics of electric and electronic devices and circuits, and their applications to aircraft. The importance of electric and electronic technology is increasing as most modern aircraft have become equipped with advanced avionics and automated flight control systems.
