1.
Outline
The main features of this course are as follows:
1. Various types of energy and the law of energy conservation,
2. Work and power,
3. Circular motions,
4. Rigid body,
5. Pendulum and springs,
6. Waves,
7. Sound.
This course corresponds to the diploma policy 3.
2.
Objectives
The study in this course is based on mechanics learnt in Physics 1.
In this course we will learn several important principles and/or concepts, such as the law of energy conservation, work, periodic motions, oscillators such as pendulum, and waves etc.
These concepts form the basis of modern industries such as electronics, photonics, computer sciences, etc.
