Social Aspects of International Relations II

Course Description

In analyzing international relations and each country’s foreign policy, we can rely on more than realism and liberalism as theoretical frameworks, which were the focus of the first semester. We currently have another important approach: combining rational choice theory and statistical analysis. This course introduces representative arguments based on this approach and examines if they are as powerful and scientific as scholars assert.
